The Institute of Registered Valuers (IRV) is the UK’s leading authority of jewellery, watch and silverware appraisers who maintain exacting standards for the longest serving and most recognised valuation trade body, regulated by the National Association of Jewellers.
A knowledgeable, reliable, and trusted community of valuers since 1987, the IRV has been at the cutting edge of training, educating and raising the industry standard in the jewellery appraisal profession for more than three decades.
In addition to strict entry criteria, all IRV Members and Fellows must commit to the Code of Practice for IRVs and ongoing Continual Professional Development as well as undertake a Professional Review every five years. Serving the general public, trade and insurance sector, every IRV can evidence verified and proven credentials, qualifications and experience while demonstrating the Association values of honesty, integrity and professionalism.
